The Marketing department is based in Gorinchem and is established for the entire Damen Shipyards Group and all its divisions and endorsed brands.

The role

Because of a maternity leave we are looking for an experienced freelance Email Marketer for 24 to 32 hours per week. We prefer a start date in January and you will work for us up to and including June 2022. During this timeframe you will help us create awareness and engagement with the ultimate goal of creating more leads for (digital) sales. You will work on some concrete projects related to valuable multi-channel campaigns, segmentation and automation flows to achieve the pre-set KPIs.  You are also working on the content and design of the campaigns, automation flows and monthly newsletters and you ensure active monitoring of the results.

We are looking for an Email Marketer with at least 2 years of experience in this field. We are flexible in where you work, but it is our preference that you work 2 days a week with our Marketing team at our office in Gorinchem. You are part of the Digital Marketing team which includes a social media specialist, a SEO / SEA specialist and a campaign manager. This team of specialists is responsible for the activation of known and unknown customers by the use of multichannel campaigns.

Key accountabilities

Optimizing performance and lead generation from the automation flows, monthly newsletters and multichannel campaigns. Identify, optimize and monitor the results to optimize awareness, engagement and conversion. Furthermore design and implement the automation flows, new templates and monthly newsletters together with the content team.  

  • Data enrichment of Salesforce Pardot
  • The creation of several automation flows; products, in-stock and re-engagement flows
  • The creation of campaigns (together with your team members)
  • Tracking of email leads with the Digital Sales team
  • A/B testing of email marketing campaigns
  • Innovates to continuously improve retention, customer loyalty and churn rates
