For all these Damen entities around the world, we aim to efficiently manage all processes around our greatest asset, our people. In 2022 we started with a project to implement Workday as our global HR system. For our Workday roll-out team we are looking for a HR System Support colleague.
The role
As a HR System Support you will be supporting both the Project Managers and the HR Advisors. You will make sure that the requirements from HR processes are correctly translated to Workday and, the other way around, you will be able to inform the HR Advisors about the possibilities of Workday. In order to do so, you will share your knowledge so your colleagues get to know all the ins and outs of the new system.
These activities will not only make you an expert in the Damen version of Workday, it will also give you a very clear insight in the role and activities of HR in general. Your next step could therefore be becoming and HR Advisor yourself. That is up to you.
Key accountabilities
- You are the first point of contact for the business for questions regarding HR systems, processes and data;
- In this position you are responsible for the effective and efficient functioning of HR processes in Workday and for initiating and managing improvements;
- You are the process owner of a number of HR processes (e.g. onboarding, change, offboarding) and that means that you are a sparring partner for business (management and HR) for these topics and you work closely with IT.
Skills & experience
To be successful in this role we ask you to bring the following:
- A Bachelor level diploma in HR;
- Affinity with HR systems like Workday, AFAS or alike;
- Perseverance to find the best solutions for HR processes and systems;
- Accuracy and analytical skills;
- Great communication skills in Dutch and English;
- A sense of humor, enthusiasm and creativity.
