The role
For the Market Intelligence Department we offer an internship for enthusiastic students interested in building up work experience in Market Research. Our main internal customers are the Sales Department, with a wide international coverage, the Naval Sales Support department that assists the Sales, and the Products and Proposals Department of Damen Schelde Naval Shipbuilding, responsible for product development and project quotations. Next to daily market intel tasks, the student will be involved in External Communication & PR, supporting various (social) media campaigns and other naval sales activities.
Key accountabilities
We have developed a series of tools to help us keep an eye on the market and the latest trends & developments, such as country cards, competition screenings and opportunities database. We also offer our market research services to the management team of DSNS and to other Damen companies. In the communications area we run campaigns for the naval division. All our work is done in English.
Skills & experience
- Undergraduate Bachelor or Master in (technical) Business Studies.
- Good knowledge of Dutch language required.
Other
This internship starts in January 2020 and we are willing to pay a remuneration of € 700,- gross per month.
