The role
For the Market Intelligence Department we offer an internship for enthusiastic students interested in building up work experience in Market Research. Our main internal customers are the Sales Department, with a wide international coverage, the Naval Sales Support department that assists the Sales department, and the Products and Proposals Department of Damen Naval which is responsible for product development and project quotations.
Key accountabilities
As department of Damen Naval we have developed a series of tools to help us keep an eye on the market and the latest trends and developments, such as country cards, competition screenings and opportunities database. We offer our market research services to the management team of Damen Naval and to other Damen companies. In the Communications area we run campaigns for the Naval division, and we focus on customer experience management. Most of our work is done in English.
Skills & experience
As Intern Market Intelligence & Communication you need to have:
- An undergraduate Bachelor or Master in (Technical) Business studies or Communication.
- Good knowledge of the English language written, and verbal. Dutch skills are a plus.
- Excellent antecedents as a pre-employment security screening and investigation are a part of the recruitment procedure (given the military nature of our projects).
- EU citizenship or valid EU work visa is required to be considered as a viable candidate
What we offer
This internship position is open to start as soon a and we are willing to pay a remuneration of € 700,- gross per month.
