Known for our famous Amels brand, Damen Yachting is the yachting division of the Damen Shipyards Group. Our clients enjoy unforgettable experiences all over the world with our market-leading portfolio of Amels superyachts as well as Damen support yacht and luxury expedition yachts.

From our heritage of over 100 years of Dutch craftsmanship, today Damen Yachting is a strong international team of 500 men and women. From our North Sea headquarters in Flushing, the Netherlands, we operate the world’s largest superyacht building and refit facilities, including multiple project locations in the Netherlands, Poland, Montenegro and a global customer care network.

Our diverse family culture supports strong and enjoyable comradery – we are in the fun business! Damen Yachting’s Managing Director is Rose Damen, a third generation family shareholder of the Damen Shipyards Group. She heads a dynamic and young organization, collaborating closely with our Amels and Damen yacht captains, crews and client teams, to deliver what we promise – on time and on budget.

We are a new generation, with a deep understanding of high-end luxury yachting solutions. Leveraging our group’s vast engineering resources and world’s best pool of specialist superyacht subcontractors on our doorstep, we work on exciting innovations for sustainability, naval architecture and our clients’ ever larger fleet of toys, helicopters and tenders.

At home on the water
We are proud to continue the tradition of shipbuilding that has shaped the docks and locks of our hometown Flushing for 700 years. Our province of Zeeland (‘sea country’) is a haven of watersports, long sandy beaches, sailing and outdoor activities, combined with the highest quality of life and the most sunshine hours in our country.
The role
Our diverse departments, including Engineering, Services and Research & Development, regularly offer challenging projects that you can work on with a great deal of independence. We give you both the space and the trust to experience what working at one of our departments entails! In this manner we prepare you for work in a good position after your studies.
We are looking for students at various levels. We regularly have internships and for the following studies:
- Maritime technology
- Mechanical engineering
- Electrical engineering
- Industrial technology
- IT and information technology
Do you follow another study? Occasionally we have internships available in our support departments such as Finance, Sales, HR, Logistics or Communications.
