Meet the Service Coordinator’s team Damen Services.
The Service Coordinators are the first point of contact for the customer for the operational execution of the sold services products.

 

The role

Are you a good fit for the Service Coordinator position at Damen Services? Now or in the near future?
As a Service Coordinator, you are responsible, together with the other members within the team of coordinators, within your own region, for the coordination of projects and activities delivered by the Operations and Supply Chain department. All this with the aim of meeting customer expectations!

This is a good fit if you like to do the following:

  • Streamline operational questions and requests coming from the client and internal organisation;
  • Coordinate, monitor, evaluate, prioritise and adjust operational project execution;
  • Contract and program management of sold projects;
  • Understanding the risks during the operation and assessing them for possible impact;
  • Monitoring customer satisfaction and managing expectations and, where necessary, take actions within the own organisation to achieve the desired result;
  • Advise Account Management, Operations and Supply Chain in making choices related to the operational execution of current and future projects;
  • Build and maintain a network of internal (and external) stakeholders.

Skills & experience

We ask our future Service Coordinator to come prepared with the following:

You have:

  • A Bachelor degree;
  • Experience in a similar position, preferably a technical background in the maritime sector;
  • Planning and Organizing skills.

You are:

  • Result-oriented, a "leader" with initiative and management skills;
  • Mastery of Dutch and English, German is an advantage;
  • Communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders;
  • A pragmatic, persuasive Service Coordinator with a solid personality, fitting within a dynamic organization with a hands-on culture;
  • Decisive and at the same time flexible in your approach and works methodically;
  • Able to influence, put things into perspective and also knows how to have the patience that is sometimes needed to achieve results;
  • Well able to manage expectations.
