Meet the Asset Management Design (AMD) Department Damen Services.
The Asset Management Design (AMD) department is responsible for developing and supplying asset management solutions for our customers. This includes products such as spare part packages, vessel operating manuals, maintenance plans and maintenance analysis. The products are created in multi-disciplinary teams.
The role
Are you a good fit for the Team leader Asset Management position at Damen Services? Now or in the near future?
As a team leader you lead a multidisciplinary team of 8-10 Project engineers in which the various assignments are carried out. You manage the planning, (financial) project administration and coordination of the various projects.
This is a good fit if you like to do the following:
- Develop and coach your team;
- Organise and distribute operational questions and requests that reach the team from the customer and the internal organisation;
- Build and maintain a network of internal (and external) stakeholders;
- Monitoring and ensuring compliance during the execution of projects, with the set rules in the field of HSSEQ, the Code of Conduct and the standards and values within Damen;
- Guiding the various improvement processes and goals that have been set in the Policy Plan by and for the department;
- Advisory role towards Account Management/D&P.
Skills & experience
We ask our future Team leader Asset Management to come prepared with the following:
You have:
- A Bachelor degree supplemented with relevant training courses;
- At least 5 years of work experience in a similar position, preferably a technical background in the maritime sector;
- Planning and Organizing skills.
You are:
- Familiar with common Mechanical engineering, knowledge of hydraulic, electrical and electronic installations is an advantage;
- Result-oriented, a "leader" with initiative and management skills;
- Mastery of Dutch and English, German is an advantage;
- Communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders;
- Quality-aware;
- Proactive and able to keep the overview.
