Across our organisation, departments regularly offer challenging internship and graduation projects. Teams you can join

At Damen, you work on real assignments within one of our departments. Depending on your studies, interests and ideas, you’ll join a team where you collaborate with professionals and contribute day one. You can gain experience in departments such as:

Possibilities we offer

Internship or graduation assignment

For students enrolled in MBO, HBO, or WO level. We offer multiple opportunities on the vacancy site to get you on board with Damen during your studies.

Apprenticeship

We have yards all over the Netherlands, where you can study different practical occupations and learn our craftsmanship. This is mostly a period for multiple years, but a short apprenticeship for a few weeks is sometimes possible.

Parttime jobs

Within Damen, we have a few student placements available as a job next to your study. These are on a project base for just a few months fulltime, or either a long term position for parttime.

  • Apply

    On our career page you can find all assignments we have available right now. Apply with your resume and motivational letter to be taken into consideration.

  • First screening

    The Campus Recruiter will take a look at your profile to see if there is a match, on the set requirements. They will forward your application to the manager responsible for the assignment.

  • Interview stage

    When the manager has expressed interest, it is possible that you first get a phone call from the Campus Recruiter to discuss some extra details. Checked all the boxes? Then we will plan an interview! Depending on the assignment, this can consist of one or two interview rounds.

  • Welcome to Damen!

    After successful conversations and a mutual interest to start, we welcome you to Damen! A student agreement will be drawn up and arrangements for a smooth onboarding will be set up.
